ON EAGLE"S WINGS

He gives power to the faint and to him who has no might He increases strength.
Even youths shall faint and be weary and young men shall fall exhausted;
But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength,
They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.
Isaiah 40:29

I have always loved this verse in the Bible!  It speaks to all of us who have weaknesses and impatience.  But by faith and patience we can become strong taking comfort that all things happen in the Lord's timing.  I respect all religions and no matter what the sect, we all believe in 1 God.  May He bring comfort to all those who are burdened and distressed.  Fill yourself with joy, happiness is where you find it: in nature, in the fall leaves, the Indian Summer sunshine, the birds and their songs, good friends and neighbors, a loving family. God Bless you all this fine Autumn day!

The carving above is a large wall plaque that my hubby hand carved a few years ago.  I love its strong lines and rough texture

That eagle carving is very mascline and strong looking...very striking.

I saw Isabella helping you with your fall leaves on your other blog. She's so cute! I think I would have to cuddle her all the time if she were mine - she looks so soft and fluffy.

Hi Sweet thing!
It is taking me awhile to get caught up on things. Love the eagle, does not surprise me that Bill had done such a supurb job. He is a wood crafter (master at that).

Hope you are feeling better. I was worried when I heard you had been sick, as it can easily pass to the other of the pair, in this case being Bill. I will be praying for the both of you.

The past few days have been very hard. I so enjoyed my time with Amy, and I wouldn't trade it for the world, but I sure would have loved to have been there for the service. Being so far away is very hard, when you want to be there for the family. It was not meant to be. Thank you for your prayers, love and kindness. I love you sweetie. Please tell Bill hello for me, and I so hope he is feeling okay. Much love and hugs, Sherry

Kerrie, the love you and Bill share shines through in every word you write.

There is so much wonder and joy in the world. People just need to take the time to recognize their blessings.
