CAN WE TALK?

BORROWING THAT LINE FROM Joan Rivers, "Can we talk?"  I know you bloggers are probably way too busy to watch much TV but do any of you watch, "Dancing With The Stars?"  When this program first started a few seasons ago, hubby and I thought it was lots of fun and something different to watch other than depressing news and murder programs.  They used to have the cutest little children dance teams come on as special guests and it was pretty much a family show except for the scantily dressed female dancers.  WELL, let me tell you that it is turning into a smut show for sure!  The female judge even commented last night that she hoped the "children are in bed" after a grinding, sexual "Lumboda" (sp) Dance that was embarrassing and graphic even for these old eyes!  These dancers portrayed the sex act with what little clothing they had on and Len praised the performance after saying of the previous couple that their dance was "too raunchy!"  It is obvious that his opinion varies of what "raunchy" is depending on his favorite dancers!  We were totally disgusted with the whole thing and definitely hope there were no children watching.  All the grace and elegance of ballroom dancing has been lost in the shuffle of what amounts to soft porn. Do any of you feel the same way about this?  I think they are scraping the bottom of the barrel to find has-beens, never-were, celebs to have on the show.  That's it for me, I would rather watch Law and Order!
If you disagree or agree, you are welcome to comment but keep it clean!  I now step down off the soapbox, thank you!
Now, in keeping with Beverly @ http://howsweetthesound.typad.com/ I am recommending a new site I have visited that is really fun. It is http://rosylittlethings.typepad.com/  Also visit Beverly's blog as she is a really sweet Christian lady and her site is the greatest!

Kerrie, thank you so much for your kindness. It means more to me than you can know.

You and your husband are in my prayers daily. I was recently discussing you with my neighbor. Her mother-in-law was just diagnosed with multiple myeloma. She is about 82 years old, and she lives in Columbia, SC.

Kerrie I agree with you, I don't watch it, did a couple of times but just got too disguised and quite.
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
