Mockingbirds This Morn...

These dear sweet "teen" Mockingbirds came tot he suet this morning and I just loved watching their antics.  Even though they can eat perfectly well by themselves, they still beg when the Mother comes near, fluttering their wings and opening their mouths to beg-ha!  I never get tired of watching them.

Here is one begging while his sibling feeds himself.  The mother was on the Crook above him and he is opening his mouth, expecting her to feed him.
The reflection in the water was so clear this morning.
           Mockingbird

Mama, Mama, feed me please!
Just once more, is my plea.
I know that I can do it Mom
But won't you give me some?

  I promise, I'll be grown up~
Tomorrow when I come to sup
But just for one more sunny day,
Can you still feed your babe in the same old way?

Hi Kerrie Sweetie...
Hope you are having a beautiful Saturday. I so enjoy seeing the birds that come to your feeders. How wonderful they must be. I just see a lot of pigeons and sometimes sparrows. I miss seeing the beautiful birds in color. They just aren't here in the city.

I pray that Bill is doing well and you are surviving the heat out there. It is hot, hot, hot here in the valley and humid today after the rain yesterday. I don't even want to step outside.

I am still struggling. I went back to work this week. Was really hard. After the week out, I went back to the dr. yesterday. Not good. They are still keeping me on the steroids. I hate those meds. My lungs are still not good. Not a lot of capacity. I can't blow to well. They also said 2 more weeks of no talking at work, and as little as possible here at home. I am very hoarse. They told me yesterday I have a lot of damage to my vocal cords, and I may not get my voice back. I am taking it one day at a time. I will take the squeaky voice for now, but I am having some serious conversations with God about giving me back my own. Time will tell.

I love you sweet friend. I remember you both in my prayers every day. You are both so special to me.

Many hugs sweetie and so much love, Sherry

Hi Kerrie, I think there are a few left at Amazon UK, there isn't a photo of the book but if you go under the title "Negative V. Positive you should find it. I had it published over 2 years ago.
I was thinking of having another one done as I have written quite alot recently.
Thanks for the enquiry.

Yvonne.
