BLUE BIRD ADVENTURES

Blue Bird Call
      ©Kerrie O'Hearn Marquart

A tiny body needing food
  A weary Mama understood
A fluttering of baby's wings
  Brings Mama holding nourishing things
To please her Darling baby!

This little Babe was sitting on the crook where the suet is hanging.  He would beg and Mama would take pieces of suet and feed him.  Much too quickly for me to snap a picture.  Such a beautiful Monday visitor!

I went to visit my friend yesterday morning and during that visit I observed at least 10 different kinds of birds visiting her bird feeders through her double glass doors overlooking her garden. It was better than TV :-)

We don't get blue here in the UK. When I came to the US 2 years ago I saw my first blue birds they were wonderful, Thanks for bringing back fond memories with your excellent post.

So adorable!
I've been watching the mother doves feeding their babies. We have quite a few! No bluebirds though. I wish!

Hugs,
Donna
