New Adventure....

If I do not post as often it is because I am entering a new phase of my life.  I am moving back to my hometown of Auburn, New York next month.  I have been in SC for 24 years and have waited a year and a half before making the decision after Bill's passing.  It is so lonely here without him and I feel I am making the right choice.  Here is the home I am buying:
Picture of me on the front steps of this cute remodeled inside and out when I made the offer on it last week.  Made a whirlwind trip to just look at houses for 3 days and found this one on the last look!  Offer has been accepted and I am just waiting for the closing date to be announced :)  This picture is of the backyard.  Small and level, I will have no trouble cutting this lawn!  There is a park near by and I will be putting out all my bird feeders and soon be posting photos from my new area!  I am very excited and happy and my daughters here will be staying so I can come to visit SC anytime I want.

My house is a maze of boxes and things right now and will be until the end of the month.  So much to do.  Thanks for visiting and sharing my good news, will post again soon!
First water Lily of the season in my little decorative pond here.

And here is one of my beautiful Gladiolas before the rain came and bent and broke them.  They are so pretty.

My wild heart to yours...

ISAIAH 40:31

"They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles."
This has always been my most favorite Bible verse!  My dearest friend from back in my hometown church in Auburn, NY is now in her 80's.  She once told me she had no craft or art ability but what she was able to do was caligraphy.  Knowing this was my favorite verse, she made this beautiful framed verse in Caligraphy for me.  I have had in the my bedroom for many many years now and I treasure it always!  Esther is an outstanding friend, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and most of all Christian.  She also writes poetry.  I pray that she will have many more years to grace her family and friends with her love and smile.

All who have eyes to see and ears to hear, sing praises to the Lord who giveth us all the beautiful creatures in the world and all the beauty that occurs...

A beautiful little Carolina Wren in a feeder on our shed.

And every winged creature is a testimony to your greatness (dragonfly on Lantana in the back yard.)

We never tire of your beautiful creations like this Water Lily in our tiny decorative pond.  A Large frog who took up residence here, laid eggs and now the little pond is full of polywogs!
Thank you God for all the beauty you provide, all the pleasures that we enjoy and for sending special people to our lives.  We are truly grateful!
HAVE A BLESSED SUNDAY!

FUN WITH FACE BOOK

Hey! I have been having so much fun with Face Book and my family! I am now in tune with the children, friends and grandchildren whenever I want to see what they are doing! Such fun! My eldest granddaughter posted this picture last night that I had not seen before. It was taken of us at her HS graduation last June 2008. She starts her 2nd year of college this fall. Where has all the time gone? Summer is still very hot in SC and humming along. I heard the locusts singing when I went out this morning, an indication of still more hot weather. I have been trying to organize some of my writings so I can post them soon. Meanwhile the photos my hubby takes are great and will be featured whenever I can download them. Last night at sunset, there was this beautiful sky.... God is Good, he colors our lives.

I have always wanted my very own Lily Pond. It is very small but very large in enjoyment! This beautiful blossom is the first this summer. Tell us if you like it. When we cleaned this tiny pond in the Spring, a very large bull frog who was hybernating there jumped out to our surprise!
