New Addition

This is "Lilly" (I named her).  She was a rescue dog from a puppy mill at my local Coastal Rescue Ctr.  I have been so lonely without Bill and she is the best medicine yet for depression and loneliness!  She is precious!  She is 4 mos. old and only weighs 3 lbs.!  She is a teacup Chihuahua.  The adoption fee was a very modest amount that I could afford and includes all shots and spaying in 2 more months!  I am so pleased.

Isabella, my RagDoll cat has adjusted very well to the new member of the family and more or less just keeps an eye on this little one's antics-ha!

This is her little Lambchop toy and she loves it

So precious, what's not to love?

Thank you so much for coming by.  I love your visits and comments.  God Bless and come again soon.

My heart to yours...

Hi Kerrie. I'm so glad you have found it in your heart to have another family pet member. I'm sure it will help when days are sad for you and Lilly comes along and licks a tear from your face. Been there, done that when my family pet member Chorizo left us, I had to find comfort and went out and got Chocolatte who did lick my tears when I cried for Chorizo. I know you miss you hubby Bill very much and I'm not comparing because there could be no comparison but I'm sure Lilly will help you in time of need. Congrats and she is beautiful. Take care. Good to see you.

Thank you Kerrie for this heartwarming post. Animals are a God send when on your own. Un fortunately where I live pets are not allowed.

Also thanks for the lovely comment.
Yvonne.

Hi Kerrie, Lily is such a cutie and I am glad your pets get along. It is hard for you I know and I have to make the decision of how much longer I am going to take care of my hubby myself. I told the doctor I didn't want to think about it, but I know in my heart that I have to make the decision. We have good days and bad.
Lily is just the right size to be a comfort and will probably stay that size. Have a great weekend. Hugs and Prayers from Your Missouri friend.
