Winter and the New Year have Arrived

View while I wait, cancer center
Happy New Year every one!  Wishing you all the best of blessings to come!
My sweet husband received the last of his radiation treatments today and the doctor says he should be getting some real relief from lower back pain now!

"Winter is the time for comfort...It is the time for home." -Dame Edith Sitwell

Bright Sunshine fills the backyard, an almost blinding light without the leaves on our trees to cut the glare of a Winter sun.
The birds are everywhere and the sunsets are still beautiful, warming the landscape in the nippiness of temperatures falling.
And as usual, I chase after the best views all around the house of God saying Good Night!
The sky is a baby blue and the sunset baby pink.

The Camellia bush is a winter bloomer and brings beauty to an otherwise brown season of cold.

Thank you for coming today!  I love sharing our backyard birds.

Happy New Year to you Kerrie.
I love the photo's especially the blue birds. I can recall the first time I saw a blue bird, it was 4 yrs ago when I cam to Calaifornia. We don't have bluebirds here and I was fascinated with them.

Oh, Kerrie, I do hope your husband has relief from his back pain!

I love seeing photos of your bluebirds. They are the state bird of Missouri but we rarely see their beautiful blueness :)

My precious Kerrie & Bill ... Happy New Year. The blue bird is wonderful! IF only we had them here popping by. The fountain is just gorgeous. You have the most beautiful setting to enjoy God's beauty in land & sky.
Have a beautiful day ~
TTFN ~
Hugs & love,
Marydon
