Taking Time Out for a while...

Taking time out

I am taking time out from blogging as my hubby is gravely
ill in the last days of his 7 yr. battle with Multiple Myeloma.
He is my priority and I need to concentrate on spending
as much time as possible with him here at home.
He wants to die at home which is not morbid.
Remember that people who are terminally ill do have the
need to discuss dying and death, last wishes, etc.  Do
not be uncomfortable with this as it eases their mind to
be settled regarding questions about Heaven, God and
his Son.  Also, do consider using Hospice for your loved
ones.  You can have a little or as much help as needed.
I will be back at a later date dear hearts.  You are all in
my heart and prayers and ask that you continue to pray
for us at this most difficult time of our lives.
Hugs, Kerrie

Oh Kerrie, I am so sorry!!!! You are in my prayers for sure. Jake went to be with the Lord after seven years, he was so ready. Hospice nurses are the best, and know things the regular nurses do not. I am so glad you are using that service.

Dear Kerrie~ I am praying for you and your husband. From my experiences letting loved ones die at home, aided by Hospice, actually was a beautiful experience. God brings us into this world in an amazing way, and our exit can be just as glorifying. Peace to you. I know this is still very hard as you will miss him.

Kerrie,I am praying right now! Hospces nurses are wonderfulm pure Angels, I saw that with my own eyes when my Aunt who died of breast cancer was in NO pain at all.

Hubby and I already sid that we want to be home to go to our other home, NOT the hospital.
Could you at some time email just your address if you can.

I love you and I am praying for you Kerrie and you wonderful Hubby.
Be strong for him, remember he will be in heaven where there is NO pain or bad things that do happen here on this world.
He will be with youand by your side all the time.
You believe in the Lord, and we believe that is true, they are with us!!

Love and big hugs and kisses,

Ah, dear Kerrie. I have tears running down my face. Even though we knew this was coming, it takes nothing away from knowing we are sharing our last time together here in this life. The two of you have loved each other well, and I know in my heart that God has great plans for you.

I am holding you and Bill and your family close in my heart and prayers. I hope you can feel my hug.♥

Dear Kerri
I will never forget how peaceful our experience with Hospice was for my family. My wonderful manan passed away 3 months ago. She was only 92 and would have gladly celebrated her 93rd birthday Feb. 10th., but it was not meant to be. She broke her hip in July, recuperated then fell again. She was tired and just lost all her strength.
She didn't eat or drink for 10 days, heavily drugged and a very strong heart that would not give up. The Hospice facility that mom was at was like her own little apt. All was right in the world. We were there when she took her last breath. She wouldn't have wanted it any other way.
I pray for you and your wonderful husband to have a journey of love in these last days.
It's not easy and it will break your heart to let him go. I sure hope there is a big reunion up there where we can be with all the great people that we loved in our lives.
God speed dear Kerrie.
Love Claudie from Canada

Hi Kerrie, I found your blog through Marydon and I want you to know my heart and prayers go out to you. I can relate to part of what you are going through my own hubby's illness. We have been fighting it for twelve years. We have a wonderful doctor who has been there with us and we take every day we get. Hospice is wonderful people to help you. I came over here to visit you from Blushing Rose.
Oh my, that photo of you and your husband really touched my heart.
I am so sorry he has been ill.
I certainly will be thinking of you (whether I know you or not) because prayer reaches all us)
I would want to die at home too if I had that choice.
You will be a wonderful loving comfort to him, I just know.
