Good morning sweet people!  Have you ever visited the Graphic's Fairy? http://thegraphicsfairy.com/kitchen-revamp-with-home-depot-before-pics-2/

She is a wonderful source of vintage graphics to use in your crafting, cardmaking and any other way you choose to use them!  All are free.  I have been following her for years now and love the vintage seasonal graphics I find on her site and love seeing what other people have done with the graphics, too.  Anyhow, she has a contest going right now and if you make a comment on her "before" kitchen that she is updating you will have a chance to win a 1K gift certificate to Home Depot!  Make sure you pop over there!

I am getting settled into my new home and my new sofa and chair for the lvrm is being delivered this afternoon.  I am soooo excited!  I will post pictures soon.  Meanwhile I have been working in the yard with Lilly and still unpacking boxes-ha!  But I am so glad to be here!

I bought these cute cafe curtains (2 pr) to cover the huge kitchen window.  It really brightened up the room!

I added a bit of wallpaper border over the cupboards that are over the stove and it catches the light beautifully.

My new electric range is being installed tomorrow and a new over/under washer/dryer will also be hooked up tomorrow.  I am thankful for friends who are also electricians!!  The old range cannot be picked up until after the Labor Day Weekend so right now it is in the middle of the floor-ha!

The bathroom is where the W/D will be and after installation, it will fit snuggly back into the space.  I am so excited!  And at my age, I feel these will be one-time purchases-ha!

And my sweet Lilly just loves running up and down stairs and can get into all kinds of mischief in the front bedroom where things are still in disarray!  She got hold of a skein of yarn up there the other day and did a real number on it-ha!  So I put the baby gate up at the bottom of the stairs so she can't go up there without me. :)

BACK TO AUBURN, NY AT LAST!!!

HELLO AUBURN!

I am so happy to be back in my hometown and back on line!  I just got hooked up to the internet this morning!  It was a hard road getting here and right now I am in a nightmare of un-packing but feel at peace already coming "home".

I have some pictures but have not down loaded them yet, just wanted to let you know I am back and living in my new home that I bought.  God Bless, come back soon.

This is a picture from last Christmas but wanted to share that my oldest Christine and Jim got married last Monday!!  Lots of happiness going around!!

New Adventure....

If I do not post as often it is because I am entering a new phase of my life.  I am moving back to my hometown of Auburn, New York next month.  I have been in SC for 24 years and have waited a year and a half before making the decision after Bill's passing.  It is so lonely here without him and I feel I am making the right choice.  Here is the home I am buying:

Picture of me on the front steps of this cute remodeled inside and out when I made the offer on it last week.  Made a whirlwind trip to just look at houses for 3 days and found this one on the last look!  Offer has been accepted and I am just waiting for the closing date to be announced :)  This picture is of the backyard.  Small and level, I will have no trouble cutting this lawn!  There is a park near by and I will be putting out all my bird feeders and soon be posting photos from my new area!  I am very excited and happy and my daughters here will be staying so I can come to visit SC anytime I want.

My house is a maze of boxes and things right now and will be until the end of the month.  So much to do.  Thanks for visiting and sharing my good news, will post again soon!
