And hand made felt coasters in bright colors.
Each time I walk through the kitchen
it cheers my heart. Next I am going to
put teacups and saucers on the table and
add a pastel table runner down the middle.
Draw something with bright jell pens. Can't draw? Trace something and then color in, such fun.
I drew mine from a photo and just made up the small branch.
Relax like Isabella in a sunspot....
Buy a Kindle or Nook. The smallest Kindle Paperwhite is both afordable and so portable with many sources for free books you can download right on line! I have the Kindle Paperwhite and am currently reading a Cary Grant bio.
Take walks and don't forget your camera. Take pictures of everything you find interesting and then weed out the bad ones in your photo program and then share with your friends on Face Book or other social networks. You can start your own blog for free at www.blogspot.com.
Depression got you down? Get busy, volunteer, check on neighbors who may appreciate a visit, join a hospital auxiliary. Go to a book store and have coffee while you browse. Getting out and exercising is very important in fighting depression in the long winter months.
Adopt a pet, a rescue cat or dog. That is where I got Lilly, my Chihuahua. So much company when I am alone. I love playing with her, she makes me laugh out loud!
Here are my sweet babies chilling out in the den. They both were rescues.
Thank you for visiting and come again soon!
My wild heart to yours....
