Rain, Rain, go away!

"Little Johnny wants to play"... a line from a nursery rhyme is so apt as we have had days of rain due to all of the storms just to the West of us here in SC.  Praying for all of the victims of the Tornadoes!
Our resident squirrel is not bothered in the least by the rain this morning and just hung out in the used to be birdhouse high and dry.

And the Egret just went on fishing as usual...
In a way I am glad it is still raining as the pine pollen is filling the air, everything is yellow!  The rain is keeping it down and not blowing around so much.

And yesterday was "Bill and Coo" day! This beautiful pair of mourning doves were loving one another as only doves can do!

And this beautiful Robin was at the birdbath that was now full from all the rains.

I do so love my backyard critters!  Hope you enjoy seeing them as much as I enjoy taking their pictures and sharing with you.

It is very lonely here without my mate and is really taking some getting used to.  I am thankful for friends and family who bolster me up every day. And thanking God for his hand on my aching heart...

My wild heart to yours....

And what a beautiful backyard filled with nature you have ... we enjoyed it so. The perfect setting.

Our maple pollen is already full blown. So I am in. Today snow showers.

Pop by my blog today, sweetie ... or yesterday.

Have a beautiful week ~

Today the winds was really strong and blowing all of the dust from where the ground was flooded. It made you think you were living some place else where it is normal to see dust storms. Depending on what direction you were driving on the highway whether the wind effected you or not. We have a squirrel that you can hear run across our roof during the day. I am looking forward to Spring. Our son should be in Houston by now waiting on a flight back to New Orleans to work. I don't know when he will get to come home again, they are going to be working 7 days a week. You are in my prayers and I really feel for you. My other half has been having problems. They think he is bleeding again. He doesn't clot good so the doctors are a little scared of him. Take care and enjoy your critters because I sure do. Your Missouri Friend.

Goodmorning Kerrie,
beautiful pics again Kerrie, what a joy to see a little squirrel in the old bird house.. :))
Lots of rain here on mainland Australia.. Flooding, and evacuations.. Tasmania has missed out on the rain, which means we could be in for a dry cold winter..
Thinking of you dear friend :))

Isn't it a joy to watch nature; always so ready to make use of whatever comes its way.
I'm glad you have friends and family to help you through your sadness.

Dear Kerrie...I love that you have a wild heart because I do, too!!

I wanted to let you know about Anita Moojani. She had a near death experience when she had cancer. She has written a book which was just released called, "Dying to Be Me". I would like to read it, myself. I saw her being interviewed about her experience on Youtube, and I was very taken with her, as I could relate to the fears she spoke of.

I thought perhaps you may like to read the book to help with your own journey, your own life. Or at least check out her interviews on Youtube.

I'll be back again to say hello. In the meantime I wish you a day of love and peace.

Marianne xo
