Multiple Myeloma has taken a lot from him but not his sense of humor!! We had a very nice day and were justifiably stuffed with good food. We were watching our two "granddogs" for our oldest daughter while she is away and here they are with their favorite guy.
It is really hard to see loved ones suffer with an illness and we are thankful for every moment we can still share with this wonderful man.
The wood Storks hung around the little Lake in back of the house all week and we were so excited to see them. One day one of the wood storks came with a huge Great Blue Heron.
They both hung out on the other bank in the sun for an hour at least!
Here is the Wood stork preening.
And here is the Blue Heron preening.
They were about 10 feet apart.
To see our fall Robins of this last week, please go to Two Happy blog, thanks! Hope your holiday was special!
Thank you so much for stopping by and do come again soon.
My wild heart to yours...

I love his wonderful sense of humor in spite of his illness. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
The masked Thanksgiving hero strikes again. I hope you all had a remarkably blessed time.
The storks are precious. We have blue herons here, too.
Thank you for your sweet comment.
Have a happy Pink Saturday,
Marianne
A lovely day full of happy memories :))
They say laughter is the best medicine and it looks like you have not lost it..
It is wonderful I think, to have these lovely birds in your yard.
Happy Thanksgiving to you all :))
Hello Kerrie and Bill...
How lovely to see a piece of your Thanksgiving day. Bill my sweet friend, that hair net is SO you. I see that little smile in there. It looks beautiful on you.
I am so happy that you and Kerrie had a beautiful day, and that your daughter was there to share with you both.
Please know that you continue to be in my prayers. I know God is listening. He gave us all another holiday together sweet friend.
Many hugs and so much love, Sherry
What a great Thanksgiving picture! He looks like he is wearing a bridal veil!! The wood stork looks like it has no feathers on it's head, kind of like a vulture. Or is that just the way it appears? I have never seen a real stork, that would be thrilling!
A wonderful picture of father and daughter and all the other pics were awesome. We only had one daughter though we had two sons, I'm sure my daughter was regarded as "Daddy's litle girl" right until he left us.
Have a good week-end
Yvonne.
You had such a nice Thanksgiving. Next turkey I will be sure to keep the netting. I think perhaps he may have started a trend, lol... Cheers, LJ
