Searching for Green.....
In my living room, I wish I could say I painted this beautiful picture but it is purchased ....maybe someday I will paint an Egret from my photos....
So I love the shamrocks! I just love Green to be truthful-ha!
Below is my clay Leprechaun that I made a few years back. He is playing a leaf stringed instrument and has an Acorn cap. He is sitting on a small Oak leaf that I made as a padded fabric coaster.
And here is one of my fiddles that I play "Danny Boy" on and a host of other Irish tunes that my Dad taught me how to sing when I was little.
My Sis-In-Law gave me this little harmonica player as I have played a harmonica ever since I was a little girl along with my brothers and Father.
This is a cement leaf that hubby made using a real Elephant Ear leaf to create. It is has a depression and is like a dish on my side table in the living room. I love it.
I found this beautiful little Vintage Calendar on line, but I cannot remember if it was from the Graphics Fairy or not.
You don't have to be Irish to enjoy searching for the green....Where is the green at your house? Do you decorate for St. Patrick's Day?

Kerrie this was right up my street, I used to live in N. Ireland and very often went across the border to the South. This brought back many happy memories. Thank you.
Yvonne.
Lots of beautiful green things! My whole living room is done in green. Every year at the craft festival, we keep missing the tin whistle player! We have been thinking of buying one if we can find it.
I love green - it's a very soothing color and me being such an outdoors lover and tree lover - I'm simply crazy about greee ;-)
Nice photos. Thanks for sharing, Kerrie!
I love the Splinters saying - ouch!
Love the splinters saying. Well as far as green goes my house is in 3 shades of green. It is more of a subtle gray green but green nevertheless. I like green. It is a calming color.
How exciting that you play fiddle and harmonica as well. I love the violin. Someday I shall learn it.
"ouch" to the splinters, tee hee. Have a great week.
Kerrie, This is so sweet! I didn't know you played the fiddle! So will you do a video for us? Funny that us craft types are so likely to play music too. I play the guitar, piano, and accordion. I love your little leprechaun. Thanks for sharing a bit o' green with us. (Gee..hope I said that right!LoL!)

Kerrie, you always amaze. You know how to do so many things.
When I grow up, I want to be like you.
Green is one of my favorite colors and I find lots of it around my house....especially in the china cabinet.
I'm glad you stopped by today to see Ruby, Dolly and me soaking up some sun! I'm knitting a Lace Scarf. It's a fun pattern to do, but I sure have to pay attention!
Dearest Kerrie, so many beautiful things you and your husband have made, such lovelies... and you my dear, you know how to play a guitar and sing??!!! you are my hero my dear!!!! I so admired poeple who have musical talents... which I have none... but my grown kids do!!!!
sending you and hubby lots of love and kisses
Actually, there's not much green in my house. The kitchen is a soft shade of green, and there is green IN our wall papers. But true, clear, Green, is a no show. :-)
I'm 1/4 Irish and still don't have any St. Patrick's Day decorations up. I think part of a reason for this is..... Most of such which you can buy, are awfully brightttttttly green. A wee bit too much for me.
And I don't create things like you do, so I'm stuck with some purchased things...... If I'm going to decorate.
Gentle hugs...
