Blog Sister Help Please!

When I went to post on my TWO HAPPY blog and also this one this morning, I could not download pictures from my pictue file.  A new screen came up only giving me the option of downloading from a URL site or Picasa.  What's up with that?  I have posted the problem on blog forum and wonder if any of you are experiencing the same problem today??  I would appreciate your input.  Please comment or e-mail me, thanks!

An Evening Prayer

The Lord is my Night Light....
           ©Kerrie O'Hearn Marquart
Lord, bless my head down to my feet
As now I lay me down to sleep.
Fill my dreams with spiritual things
And fill my heart with love, that only
                      knowing you, brings~
Because of your saving Grace!

I sometimes forget to call your name
Or reach to touch your mighty hand
But I know, You know my wants and needs
Without my even speaking!

Hold me in the palm of Your hand
Let my sleeping head be cradled there
And when I wake please keep your hand at
   my back
To keep me upright in your path.
Thank you Lord, my "night light."

Mother's Day Thoughts

Mother's Day...What a wonderful way to show Mom just how we feel about her!!  And to thank her for all the selfless love she gave to us in the past, present and future for as long as she lives.  A Mother's job is never complete.  We mothers worry before you were born, after you were born, and all of the stages from there to aldulthood.  Our love is never ending though we have been stern at times and you did not always agree.  The older you get, the smarter Mom gets and you appreciate her insight and wisdom.  Make sure you let your Mom know just how much you love and appreciate her and don't forget Grandma, she's a Mama, too!
   Here are some verses I have created for you to use if you desire.  Thanks for visiting all of my blogs and leaving your wonderful comments!
      MOTHER'S DAY
 Oh Mother Dear, the day is here,
To celebrate your being.
 Lucky me, born to You
And each year I am seeing
 More wisdom in your sparkling eyes
More love in your heart beating.
 Thank you Mom for all you do
And our bond forever keeping.
       ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
2.    Mother's Day
Mother, have I told you
 Just how much you mean to me?
Have I thanked you for the midnight talks
 And daytime visits over tea?
Have I told you you're my heroine
 And how much I look up to you?
Well Mother I will tell you now
 You are forever in my heart and
      I LOVE YOU!
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
3.  MOTHER'S DAY
Hi Mom, just a little note
To say how much I love you
And wish you Happy Mother's Day.
Though I celebrate you Every day
And Thank God for giving me
 a wonderful Mom like you!
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I hope I have inspired you to write your own feelings in a verse or feel free to use my writings with your thoughts intertwined with mine.
This shadow box creation is 3 dimensional and features a Victorian Lady in front of a shop.  Her dress is layered, the bicycle wheel and flowered basket are layored.  The little Mother's Day tag is tucked in to the wheel.  I loved creating this framed gift that any mother would enjoy.
Thank you for visiting and look for this Victorian beauty in my Etsy Shop. Link is in the sidebar.
  Come again soon!
LEAD US
                                             LORD LEAD US
                                        ©Kerrie O'Hearn Marquart
Give me peace in all my days
And I will praise thee in many ways.
In song and prayer, in mind and heart,
I'll do my best to do my part...
To be your loving servant.
Lord, I am humble at your feet,
I bow my head when in prayer, we meet.
And thank thee for all blessings given
And pray that we all will meet in heaven
...whatever road we take.
There cannot be a wrong road,
 With the "lamp unto our feet",
when we are guided by the ONE
On the right hand of God's seat,
Lead us toward your light.
~Amen
IT'S A RAGDOLL CAT WORLD...
Isabella the Ragdoll is the most relaxed cat we have ever owned!  She lies on her back when she sleeps like a dog and is so trusting.  Just check out her poses!  We brush her 2-3 times a day and she loves to be brushed, even meowing for us to get the brush-ha!  Her coat is so soft that it is like silk but the shedding is big time.  She has problems with hair balls even though we buy special food for her.  And the vet gave us a tube of yukky fishy smelling stuff for her food.  She hates it and will not touch the food if you put it on it.  All things Isabella, she rules the house.  She runs to the door if the doorbell rings just like a dog, also.  She is very social and greets company then walks them to the door when they depart.  She adores my hubby and is on his lap whenever she gets the chance.  I can brush her and pet her but she has never sat on my lap in the 4 1/2 yrs. that we have had her-ha!  She does have spurts of running and playing although you cannot tell that from these photos.  She truly is "Isabella, the Queen". Cats Rule!
Everything is just Ducky!
Quack, Quack!  Mama Mallard came this morning to show off her babies~eight in all!  She and the male know we will be tolerant of them in the yard while she is tending her babies and so they show no fear as we take photos of them.  They are so dear!  One is limping and we are guessing from experience that a turtle probably bit him in the leg.  Turtles are predators by nature and if they can grab a little one by the leg and drag it under the water, they will drown and eat it!  While knowing that is nature, I still do not like the fact.  The father Mallard usually just sits guarding with his head tucked down while the Mama and babies forage through the grass and along the bank.  We just love seeing them every year.
Thank you for visiting this beautiful Saturday Morning and don't forget to bop over to Beverly @ How Sweet the Sound for the list of Pink Saturday Participants including my own http://beaver-kerrie.blogspot.com/   Come back soon.
THURSDAY, AM I BLUE?
Absolutely not!  But this Blue Jay that was visiting is:
I love the Blue Jay so much and he is really hard to catch in a photo!  He does not light for long.  He is sitting on a broken branch of the Bradford Pear tree in our back yard.  My hubby puts peanuts in the shell out for him and he will swoop down to the Umbrella table, grab one and off he goes!  He holds the peanut with his claws on a branch and breaks the shell with his powerful beak to get the meaty nut inside.  His distinctive call alerts us that he is out there in the yard and by the time we grab a camera, he is usually gone.  I take pictures through the window by my computer desk to catch him and it works pretty well--at least this morning-ha!
   Thank you for the comments regarding the artist bloggers I featured yesterday.  That was so gratifying to show off friends photographic and artistic ability.  I plan to do it again soon.  Beverly at How Sweet the Sound also features and encourages all of us to introduce other blogs each week, it's a great idea.
   Today is treatment day for my hubby so we will be off to the cancer center at noon.  We bring books to read and Bill is such a wonderful patient even after 5 years of this.  His nursing staff loves him and they are like family now.  We have a site at Caring Bridge where we post his progress or lack there of.  It is a free site for anyone who is going through crisis with illness, terminal or temporary and is a great way to keep all of your friends and relatives informed without having to e-mail or call each one.  Please visit the site and donate if you can.  They do this completely free and depend on donations to operate.  A very worthy cause, I truly can attest.  Visit: www.caringbridge.org/visit/billmarquart  to see photos and journal.  I will be posting after our visit to the cancer center today.
    Have a most wonderful Thursday with showers of Spring blessings!
Featured Bloggers with Talent!
WEDNESDAY AND I AM FEATURING TWO VERY TALENTED BLOGGERS
                                 EACH IN THEIR OWN RIGHT:
First, in alphabetical order is: Donna at Mourning Dove Cottage.  She is a fantastic artist.  I so admire her still life paintings but really enjoy most, her wonderful renditions of her dogs, Otis and Riley!  They look as though they were going to leap from the painting right into your lap!  Besides a great artist, Donna is a very warm and loving person. You can tell by the special touches to the decor of her home and garden that love goes into all of her creations.  Her photography is wonderful as she shares Otis and Riley working with her in the garden, flowers, blossoming trees and much more.  Please click on Mourning Dove Cottage to bring you to her blog.  She would love you to visit and you will have a lovely time!
Who wouldn't love these two!!( please note that the painting is copyrighted by Donna)
NEXT is my blogging friend, Kathy at Katney's Kaboodle.  Kathy is a retired librarian now adventurer.  She travels all over and much of the time just in her little Tear Drop Camper with her Hubby.  She captures the most professional photos of a huge variety of subjects.  She never fails to amaze me, sending me into verbal exclamations when I view her latest photos.  Her subject matter is ever evolving!  She is one of the first Blog friends I ever made and she has helped me through the last couple of years whenever I had a blog related problem.  I admire her sense of adventure, her dedication to the Breast Cancer cause and what seems like unending energy!  She will inspire and entertain you with her writings and her photography.  So be sure to visit Kathy by clicking on her link above.   All of her material is copyrighted and cannot be copied.  So I cannot copy to share with you, you will just have to visit-smile.  Thank you.
Asking for help from Bloggers
Dear Blog Buddies: twice now I have had someone comment on my blogs and the source is either in Chinese or Japanese so that I cannot put the name of the e-mail in to block it.  In the body is a long line of dots after the comment with underlining.  If I hover the cursor over this dotted line, It shows adult sites, suggestive sexual video's etc.  I have contacted my Internet provider but I need a name to block this site.  Have any of you had the same experience and did you find a solution??  I will be most grateful for any help, THANKS!!
When I survey the Wondrous Cross
♫♫"When I survey the wondrous cross,
On which the prince of glory died,
My richest gain would be but loss,
and pour contempt on all my pride.
See from His head, His Hands, His feet, Sorrow and love flow mingled down,
Love so amazing, so complete
Demands my soul, my life, my all, Demands my soul, my life, my all!♫♫
When I sang this song in years past in the "Singing Christmas Tree" production in Myrtle Beach, I was so struck by the word that my chest actually ached.  The suffering that this God made Flesh had to suffer was beyond any agony that I could imagine.  I felt like I was seeing the blood from his head, hand and feet flowing while life ebbed away while his own Mother watched in pain.  Will we ever again witness such a sacrifice?  I pray not and thank Jesus for dying for me and for you and all of mankind.
     Rejoice this Easter Sunday when the stone is rolled away and our Lord rises!  Enjoy your families and be elated that you can live free and worship as you choose.  It is such a blessing and should never be taken for granted.
